Commercial waste across Auckland

Business rubbish is a logistics problem, not a rubbish problem

Commercial rubbish rarely turns up as a neat pile at the kerb. It is a tenancy that has to be empty by Friday, a fit-out that has filled the loading bay with packaging, a build where the off-cuts are now a trip hazard, or a bin room that fills faster than the council collection empties it. The rubbish itself is the easy part. The hard part is getting it out without blocking a car park, holding up trading, or pulling your own staff off the work you actually pay them to do.

J-Tip It is an East Auckland crew based in Pakuranga, and we clear commercial waste for offices, retail and hospitality sites, warehouses, construction jobs, property managers, and body corporates right across Auckland. You tell us what has to go and when the site is free. We turn up with the truck and the crew, we do the loading, and we take it away and dispose of it properly. Our slogan is You Name It We'll Take It, and outside of hazardous material such as asbestos, chemicals, and gas bottles, we mean it fairly literally.

Everything is quoted as a fixed price before we start, so there is a number to put in front of your finance person rather than an estimate that grows once the truck is loaded. If the work is recurring, we set up a scheduled collection instead of making you ring every time.

A J-Tip It crew member loading waste into the truck on an Auckland job

Fixed quote before we book

One agreed price for the job as described, so there is a real number to approve rather than a rate card that only makes sense once the invoice arrives.

Booked around your trading

We are on call seven days. Early starts, after close, and weekend collections are all normal for us, so the work happens when it disrupts your business least.

One crew, one invoice

Waste removal, furniture moving, and aggregate delivery all come from the same crew, so a clear-out that also needs desks relocated does not turn into three suppliers and three accounts.

Who we clear rubbish for

One-off clear-outs and ongoing collections for businesses across East, South, and central Auckland.

Offices and tenancies

Desks, partitions, e-waste, and full clear-outs for fit-outs and end-of-lease handovers.

Retail and hospitality

Shop refits, back-of-house clutter, and collections timed before opening or after close.

Construction and trade sites

Timber, plasterboard, and general site debris cleared without a bin taking up the site.

Property managers and body corporates

Abandoned goods, dumped rubbish, and between-tenant clear-outs. One number across every building.

Warehouses and industrial units

Pallets, broken racking, damaged stock, and packaging waste. We bring the truck and the crew.

Ongoing scheduled collections

Weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or whenever you call. A schedule that fits your operation.

Why businesses call us

Why businesses use us instead of a skip bin

Skips suit a long project where rubbish builds up over weeks. For almost everything else on a commercial site, a truck and a crew is the faster and cheaper option.

Nothing sits in the car park

A skip takes up a park for days. Our truck arrives, the crew loads, and it is gone the same visit.

No permits to arrange

A bin on the road needs a council permit and a wait. We leave nothing behind, so we need neither.

We do the loading

Skip hire leaves the labour to you. Our crew does the lifting, including stairs, lifts, and long carries.

You pay for what we take

A half-filled skip costs the same as a full one. We price by what actually goes on the truck.

We have written up the full comparison in our guide to skip bins versus rubbish removal in New Zealand, including the cases where a skip genuinely is the better call.

Fixed quotes and ongoing collections

One agreed price for a one-off clear-out, or a standing rate for a collection that repeats.

How a commercial job is quoted

Commercial rubbish removal is priced by volume, which is simply how much room the load takes up in the truck. Weight and access matter too, because a pallet of damaged stock is a different job to the same volume of packaging, and a basement car park with a lift takes longer than a ground-floor loading bay.

Send us photos of what has to go, tell us where it sits on the site, and flag any access constraints. We come back with one fixed number for the job. If you are happy with it we book a time that suits your trading hours. If the job on the day is genuinely bigger than what was described, we talk to you before we touch anything rather than adding a surprise to the invoice.

For recurring work we quote a per-collection rate up front, so the cost is predictable and easy to budget against rather than something that has to be re-approved every month.

What is already in the price

All labour and loading, including stairs, lifts, and long carries
Travel within our East, South, and central Auckland service areas
Transfer station and disposal fees
Sorting for recycling where the material allows
A sweep-up of the area once the truck is loaded
After-hours and weekend collections where the site needs them

No charge for stairs, no charge for distance to the truck, and no separate tip fee added at the end. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to book.

End of Tenancy

Fixed quote

Furniture out, rubbish gone, keys back on time. It is one of our standing fixed-quote packages and it is the one property managers and outgoing commercial tenants ask for most. The lease sets a handover date and a condition, and this is the package built around meeting both without a scramble in the last week.

  • Full tenancy clear-out, floor by floor
  • Furniture and fit-out moved out or removed
  • Abandoned goods taken away
  • Broom-swept and handover ready

Anything worth keeping does not have to be written off. Because we also do furniture moving, desks and equipment can go to the new premises on the same visit while everything else goes on the truck.

Ongoing collections

For sites that generate rubbish week after week, we set a schedule and stick to it. No bin sitting on the property between visits, no rental on equipment you use for an hour, and a standing rate you can budget against.

  • Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly
  • On-call collections when volume spikes
  • Agreed rate per collection
  • One point of contact across multiple sites

Commercial waste questions, answered.

What businesses ask us before booking a clear-out or setting up an ongoing collection. Still not sure? Give us a call.

Let's talk
Can you set up ongoing rubbish collections for our business?

Yes, plenty of our commercial work is recurring. We agree a schedule that matches how fast your rubbish builds up, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or a standing arrangement where you call and we come. No bin sits on your site between visits, so you are not paying rental on equipment you use for an hour a week.

Do you collect outside business hours?

We are on call seven days and can work early mornings, evenings, and weekends. For retail and hospitality that usually means collections before opening or after close, and for offices it means clear-outs without disrupting staff. Tell us the window that works and we book into it.

How does invoicing work for commercial jobs?

Fixed quote before we start, one invoice after the job. Ongoing collections can be invoiced per visit or consolidated, whichever suits your accounts process. Waste removal, furniture moving, and aggregate delivery can all land on the same invoice from one supplier.

What commercial waste do you take, and what can you not take?

Office furniture and e-waste, shop fittings, construction and renovation debris, packaging, pallets, and general commercial rubbish. We cannot take hazardous material such as asbestos, chemicals, and gas bottles, which need licensed specialist disposal. Not sure about an item? Send a photo and we will tell you straight.

Which parts of Auckland do you cover for commercial work?

We are based in Pakuranga, so East Auckland and the East Tamaki industrial area are our home patch, and we work the South Auckland and Penrose to Mount Wellington belt regularly, plus the central suburbs and CBD. Further out, ask anyway and we will give you a straight answer.
